Hotel icon is gorgeous, the rooms are exactly what you see in the pictures. The details are truly gorgeous. The first issue we ran across consisted of our room facing a very lively night club (which honestly I should have done my home work) that carried noise into our 4th floor room until about 3 am. My husband and I did enjoy the walking distance of several bars and restaurants, so maybe the noise wasn’t a huge price to pay, but annoying nonetheless. The second issue consisted of the night time staff. I had no clue where to retrieve ice from, so when we arrived back from a concert I asked the front desk to deliver some. I waited and waited, which was fine, so I called to confirm what I had asked for. I then was hung up on three times, mid sentence about said ice. I then got back on the phone with someone and the ice was delivered after I explained the hostility of my calls being disconnected. So word to the wise, don’t order ice at night. All in all, the hotel was good, I’m not going to let two incidents deter me from returning. To end our stay, the breakfast buffet was absolutely fabulous. Thank you to the day time crew and valet for being absolute angels!

I love their bathtubs! I love the decor and the style of the rooms. I've had rooms with a regular deep tub and a jetted tub. BOTH are so wonderful I want to move in! I booked a city view room with a whirlpool tub for NYE. I cannot wait! I suggest hitting some of the bars on Market Square. Warren's is an old dive with exceptional martinis. The Dean's Easy Credit is upbeat and lively while Notsuoh (next door) is very laid back and have multiple floors. Hit the roof if you can!

The hotel is exactly like the photos, the lobby, elevators, and room were beautiful, and I appreciated how well the air conditioning worked compared to other hotels. The bathroom was better than expected and I especially liked the soaking tub. The location was perfect and everywhere we needed to go was in walking distance. Hotel staff was professional and provided excellent customer service throughout our stay.

Bar was busy when we were there, therefore, not as timely or clean. But the bar tender was lovely. Breakfast was ok - for the quality the price was a bit high. Server not attentive w/coffee and tea service throughout. Everybody was nice though. Would have been better if we could fill our own coffee and tea.

Lisa

Great style, design, preservation of the historical aspect of the hotel. Not pristine, but fun and absolutely clean. Lots of attention to detail. We loved the consistently great staff, the 24 hour hot chocolate in the lobby during a cold, rainy weekend, the work out room.
